New Delhi: BJP president Nitin Nabin offered prayers at Kalibari in Chittaranjan Park on Tuesday, a day after the party registered a massive victory in the West Bengal and Assam assembly elections.“People compensated us this time for the 2024 Lok Sabha results, which fell short of our expectations,” said Nabin, who was accompanied to the temple by chief minister Rekha Gupta and Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva.Thanking the people of Bengal and Assam, Nabin said, “I have come to pay obeisance for the victory of the party in the pious lands of Maa Kali and Maa Kamakhya.”Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been working as “Rashtra Nayak” and “Pradhan Sewak” for development and conserving the heritage and culture of the country, he said. “The culture and heritage of Bengal can progress under the leadership of PM Modi only,” he added.
