New Delhi: The BJP will hold massive celebrations at several locations across the country on Wednesday to mark the culmination of 25 years of PM Narendra Modi’s contribution to public service, which began when he became CM of Gujarat on October 7, 2001. The two ongoing simultaneous Seva Yatras – from Vadnagar to Varanasi and from Varanasi to Vadnagar – will draw to a close with Union ministers, CMs of BJP-ruled states and party office-bearers recalling Modi’s work for the welfare of the people.

Modi will address party workers and office-bearers on Wednesday morning at a programme at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium here. BJP chief Nitin Nabin will also address the gathering before leaving for Varanasi to participate in the culmination of the Seva Yatra from Vadnagar.

BJP said that the Seva Yatris will offer prayers at Kashi Vishwanath Temple before taking part in the closing ceremony. In Vadnagar, the Gen Z party workers participating in the other Seva Sankalp Yatra will offer prayers at Hatkeshwar Mahadev Temple and renew their commitment to serving the people. BJP is also organising mashaal (torch) processions later in the evening in several districts to celebrate Modi’s contribution, party sources said.
