Bengaluru: A special court for elected representatives in the city Saturday sent BJP MLA from KR Pura, BA Basavaraja, to six-day judicial custody in Bengaluru Central Prison.Criminal Investigation Department sleuths produced the lawmaker before the special court as his police custody ended Saturday. CID police arrested Basavaraja on Feb 12 when he landed at Kempegowda International Airport from Ahmedabad, in connection with last year’s murder of rowdy Biklu Shiva. The MLA was named as accused number five in the case.
