Hyderabad: BJP MLA Paidi Rakesh Reddy on Wednesday said that the case involving Union minister of state for home affairs Bandi Sanjay’s son, Sai Bageerath, should also be treated as a family matter. Addressing the media at the BJP state office on Wednesday, he said, “The case is under investigation, and the finality will be decided there. I have nothing more to say, but I believe there has been a good friendship between the boy and the girl, and the girl’s family has also accepted their friendship. Both are young and might have faced some disputes, but if things settle later, they could even consider marriage.”He further appealed to the public to stop discussing the matter, stating, “There are many other important issues, such as paddy procurement in the state, that require attention. No one is focusing on them. Please do not make this a confrontation between the two parties; there might have been some misunderstandings, and I hope they are resolved.” Meanwhile, when contacted over his remarks, a BJP leader said it was his “personal opinion.”
