Mysuru: BJP MLA TS Srivatsa on Thursday alleged that protocol was violated during the Dasara procession.“According to the protocol announced earlier, only eight dignitaries were permitted to offer puja to Goddess Chamundeshwari during the Dasara procession. However, the chief ministers of Keralam and Telangana, the Karnataka chief secretary and the wife of the Karnataka chief minister were allowed to climb the podium and offer floral tributes to the Goddess. This is a violation of the stipulated protocol,” he said.Srivatsa said he would meet speaker, chief justice of the Karnataka high court and governor and submit a complaint. “Who authorised these persons to do so in violation of the protocol?” he asked. He also condemned the police for stopping ministers, MLAs and MLCs during the Nandi Dhwaja puja.
