“Rahul Gandhi and the INDIA bloc, which have been continuously trying to spread confusion and politics in the country over the SIR process, now face a clear stance from the nation’s highest court. The Supreme Court has explicitly declared the SIR process to be legal and constitutional,” BJP posted on X.

Addressing a press conference here, BJP spokesman Sudhanshu Trivedi accused the Opposition of peddling lies on the SIR process. “This is a complete defeat of Congress, particularly Rahul Gandhi. Congress and the Opposition parties have collapsed across all three dimensions – ethical, political and constitutional,” Trivedi said, adding Gandhi should “introspect and abandon the use of abusive language”.
