Mysuru: BJP state unit spokesperson MG Mahesh was expelled from the party for six years. According to Lingaraja Patil, chairman of the party’s disciplinary committee, Mahesh has been relieved from all the party responsibilities. “His explanation on the showcause notice issued over his statements made in the party meeting held on June 19 is not satisfactory. He has been expelled from the party,” stated the order.“It was an internal meeting of the party where I revealed the public opinions about the recent developments in the party. It was a routine meeting. I am serving the party for the last 43 years, and I will remain a staunch follower of the party ideology,” Mahesh told TOI.“I am made a scapegoat,” he added.
