New Delhi: The BJP on Monday called Rahul Gandhi a “hawa hawai” leader, accusing him of undermining constitutional institutions and dubbing his march to the Supreme Court and protests against the Election Commission as “pure theatrics”.

The BJP alleged that the Congress was blaming constitutional institutions for its electoral defeats instead of introspecting on its leadership, while accusing Gandhi of making baseless allegations of “vote chori” against the EC, electronic voting machines (EVMs) and the Chief Election Commissioner.

Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan described the Congress leadership as “visionless”, alleging that it neither understood the country nor its people, values and traditions.

BJP MP Anurag Thakur said: “The country needs truth, not noise. It needs evidence, not allegations. It needs clear answers, not political statements.”
