With the saffron party stepping up preparations for the Uttar Pradesh assembly polls due early next year, BJP president Nitin Nabin will on Saturday embark on a two-day visit to the state where he will hold a series of meetings with party leaders and NDA partners.

It will be Nabin’s first visit to UP since the state unit of BJP announced its new team of office-bearers. “BJP national president Nitin Nabin will be on a two-day organisational visit to Uttar Pradesh from Saturday, July 4,” the party said in a statement on Friday. During this visit, the BJP said, Nabin will hold various “organisational meetings” with senior party leaders and office-bearers.

He will also hold meetings with UP CM Yogi Adityanath as well as Deputy CMs Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, the party said. According to the party, Nabin will hold meetings with BJP MLAs, MLCs and MPs from the state.
