New Delhi: An employee of a finance firm was allegedly robbed of Rs 17 lakh after two bike-borne assailants threatened him at gunpoint in east Delhi’s Gandhi Nagar market Friday.A video of the incident surfaced on social media Saturday. The 28-second CCTV footage shows the two men getting off a motorcycle in a residential lane adjoining the market, pointing a pistol at the employee and snatching the bag containing the cash before fleeing.Police said that the preliminary investigation suggests the accused had been following the employee for some distance before intercepting him. A case has been registered at the Gandhi Nagar police station and CCTV footage is being analysed to trace and apprehend the accused.
