Bengaluru: Girinagar police have arrested a Nigerian national and seized 5kg of MDMA, valued at crores of rupees, in a major crackdown on narcotics trafficking.Acting on credible intelligence gathered over nearly 10 days, police registered a case under the NDPS Act and raided the service road near PES University, where they arrested Chigbandu Nwankappa. The MDMA was seized from him.Preliminary investigation revealed that the drugs were transported from New Delhi and distributed through local peddlers. Police are continuing investigation to identify other members of the syndicate and trace the supply chain.
