Bengaluru Central city corporation urged citizens to submit claims and objections on discrepancies in the revised draft voters’ list for the upcoming civic elections.The revised list will be published on March 9 and citizens can submit claims/objections between March 10 and March 16 to electoral registration officers or assistant electoral registration officers concerned.Rajendra Cholan, additional district election officer (central) and Central city corporation commissioner, requested voters to verify their details once the revised draft list is published and report any errors.Cholan said voters should report issues such as family members being listed in different wards or polling stations, interchange of voter details, or voters being placed in polling stations outside their geographical wards.The revised draft voters’ list covers 63 wards falling under six assembly constituencies — CV Raman Nagar, Shivajinagar, Shanthinagar, Gandhinagar, Chamarajpet and Chickpet.
