Nagpur: Revenue minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule on Saturday directed police to carry out a swift and sensitive investigation into the alleged sexual abuse of minor girls, saying no accused would be allowed to evade the law.Following a review at the office of the Amravati SP Vishal Anand, Bawankule said he sought detailed briefings from CP Rakesh Ola. He instructed officials to ensure the inquiry is conducted with “utmost seriousness, sensitivity and precision”.“The investigation is being conducted seriously using forensic and digital tools. Political commentary should be avoided until the final report is available,” he said.Bawankule added that CM Devendra Fadnavis was closely monitoring developments, including a separate case involving a corporate entity in Nashik, and stressed that speculation should be avoided until findings are finalised.Police have been asked to trace absconding suspects quickly and take strict legal action. The minister emphasised accountability, saying law enforcement agencies must identify and prosecute all those involved without delay.
