Baramulla, August 14 : Baramulla Police, in collaboration with the District Administration, organised a Mega Tiranga Rally across Baramulla town on Friday as part of the Independence Day celebrations.
The rally began from Dak Bungalow and culminated at Prof. Showkat Ali Stadium, Government Degree College Baramulla. Police personnel, civil administration officials, students, government employees and citizens from different sections of society participated in the event.
The rally was led by the Deputy Inspector General of Police, North Kashmir Range, the Deputy Commissioner Baramulla and the Senior Superintendent of Police Baramulla, along with senior officers and officials.
Participants carried the Tricolour and raised patriotic slogans, creating an atmosphere of unity and national pride. The participation of students and youth added vibrancy to the rally.
The event also aimed to strengthen police-public engagement and encourage greater community participation in Independence Day celebrations. Baramulla Police and the District Administration appealed to citizens to celebrate Independence Day with patriotism, responsibility, peace and harmony.
