Nagpur: The Balaghat-Itwari memu train derailed near Kalamna station on Sunday evening, triggering brief panic among passengers but no injuries were reported, reports Soumitra Bose.The incident occurred around 9.10pm on the Kamptee-Kalamna section on the UP line. The first pair of wheels on the leading bogie came off the tracks just three kilometres before Kalamna station. The train abruptly halted near Gauri Shankar Nagar. Restoration teams from Southeast Central Railway (SECR) reached the spot. An accident relief team rushed to the spot.After the accident, SECR cancelled three MEMU services on the route. Train 68716 (Itwari-Gondia MEMU, Train 68712 (Gondia-Dongargarh MEMU) , and Train 68710 (Dongargarh-Raipur MEMU) will not run on Monday, March 30.
