Gurgaon: MCG is set to upgrade the secondary waste collection points in Beri Bagh and Khandsa village. Work on the structures is expected to begin in one month after MCG completes the process to hire a contractor. The new upgrade — estimated to cost Rs 6.6 crore — was sanctioned by the finance and contracts committee of the civic body. Kanpur: A speeding car fell into a 20-foot canal in Auraiya, killing a businessman, his wife and their son.The accident occurred under the Achhalda police station area late Wednesday, when the family was travelling home by car after attending a pre-wedding ceremony in Etawah.
