Hyderabad: A 3.9-magnitude earthquake struck Mancherial district on Wednesday night. Parts of bordering areas in Maharashtra also felt tremors, with residents in some areas stepping out of their homes in panic.According to the National Centre for Seismology under the ministry of earth sciences, the quake occurred at 11.49 pm on Feb 25, at a depth of 10 km. PUNE: Close to 160 flyers travelling to the city from Indore on an Air India Express flight encountered a scare when the aircraft had a rough touchdown here, following which it took off again and landed back safely after around 25 minutes. Shimla: Himachal chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Friday inspected the under-construction heliport at Jaskot in Hamirpur district, being built at a cost of Rs 18 crore. Kota: Suspected large-scale fake entries of animal vaccinations under the National Animal Disease Control Programme (NADCP) have surfaced on the Union govt’s National Digital Livestock Mission (NDLM) portal, raising concerns over implementation gaps and possible financial misuse linked to tagging and vaccination incentives.Under the programme, each animal is assigned a 12-digit unique ID verified through an OTP-based mobile application, with owner details and other information uploaded to the portal.
