Ahmedabad: The standing committee on Thursday approved the formation of the Amdavad District Tourism Development Society (ADTDS) to boost tourist attractions in Ahmedabad. The state govt will provide Rs 10 crore to the society, which will be registered as a trust, under the Societies Registration Act, 1960, and the Bombay Public Trusts Act, 1950.ADTDS will identify tourist sites and plan infrastructure upgrades, beautification works, tourist amenities, sanitation and drinking water facilities, traffic and parking arrangements, cleanliness measures, signage, and other initiatives to promote tourism. Chandigarh: The Haryana govt on Thursday highlighted its focus on strengthening health care services in the state during the 5th day of the budget session of the Assembly.CM Nayab Singh Saini said that the state govt is committed to providing better healthcare services to its citizens.
