Gurgaon: The city recorded its most polluted Feb since air quality monitoring began in 2016. There were no ‘good’ or ‘satisfactory’ days and the monthly average AQI touched 256, placing the entire month in the ‘poor’ category this month.Data compiled from daily readings between 2016 and 2026 shows this Feb overtook all previous years. Guwahati: Tuberculosis (TB) cases diagnosed in Assam have shown a steady increase over the last four years owing to increased testing since 2022. The three years prior to that recorded less number of TB cases.In 2022, the number of diagnosed patients was 47,308. In 2023, it increased to 50,989. Pune: Three people – a pharmacist, a mall manager and a private company employee – collectively lost Rs 60 lakh to separate online share trading frauds. The Sinhagad Road, Kondhwa and Nanded City police registered separate cases. A 52-year-old pharmacist from Sinhagad Road, who lost Rs 26.4 lakh, stated in his complaint that in Oct last year, he was added to a group on a mobile messenger. Panaji: With govt set to roll out the deposit refund scheme (DRS) from April, the excise department made it compulsory for all liquor bottles sold in the state to carry high-security, tamper-resistant stickers with QR codes to track the bottles. Lucknow: Back from his four-day Singapore and Japan tour, chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday directed all departments to increase their efforts to realise their revenue targets for the current financial year.During a review meet of the tax and non-tax revenue up to the end of Feb for the current financial year, CM was told that against the annual tax revenue target of Rs 2,95,000 crore, Rs 1,96,177 crore was collected so far.
