Vasai: Police have arrested a 26-year-old dumper driver who mowed down a 40-year-old school teacher at Shirsad Phata on NH48 on Saturday morning in a hit-and-run case. After the accident, he had fled the scene but was later arrested by the Mandavi police who formed teams to arrest him.The accident occured when the accused, Pandurang Jadhav, was driving on the wrong side of the service road and hit the teacher from behind.
