Kanpur: An 18-year-old cross-country race participant suffered serious burns after allegedly coming in contact with an electrified iron grill during a prize distribution ceremony at the Late Brahm Dutt Dwivedi Stadium on Saturday. Pune: A 59-year-old estate agent from Warje Malwadi was abducted from Pune and killed in Sangli following a dispute over messages he had allegedly sent to a woman, police said.The accused, after killing the victim, dumped his body in the Tembhu canal at Kadegaon in Sangli district, about 180km from Pune, on Aug 10.
