Navi Mumbai: A gas leak from one of the pressure wagons of a goods train put rail traffic movement out of gear late on Saturday evening at Panvel railway station till midnight. Balasore: A physical education teacher died after coming in contact with an 11-KV overhead power line while preparations were underway for Independence Day celebrations at a private school in Maitapur on Saturday morning. Erode: A 31-year-old man was arrested on Sunday for raping an 85-year-old woman in Anthiyur, in Nagalur panchayat the previous night.The arrested has been identified as Vicky, son of Rajendran, a resident of Rishivandiyam in Kallakurichi district.“The woman was alone at her farmhouse when the accused, gagged her, bit her wrist and raped her before fleeing the scene,” said a police officer from Anthiyur station.
