Panaji: The directorate of tribal welfare will soon set up Dharti Aaba Suvidha Kendras (DASKs) in nine tribal-dominated villages across Goa to provide localised support for the development of Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities through NGOs.The identified village panchayats are Morpirla, Cotigao, Gaondongrim, Netravalli, Cola, Molcornem, Shristhal, Poinguinnim, and Kirlapal-Dabhal.The directorate has invited applications from registered NGOs and charitable trusts to establish and operate the centres. Patna: Bihar’s Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) grew at 13.09% in the 2024-25 fiscal, according to the CAG report, tabled on the floor of the state legislature on Thursday. T’puram: Kerala University syndicate on Thursday scrapped a proposal to establish a Rs 2-crore sculpture park featuring statues of Karl Marx, Charles Darwin, Socrates, Rabindranath Tagore and other prominent figures on its Kariavattom campus.The project had been approved by previous syndicate, and Rs 2 crore was earmarked for it in the university’s 2025-26 budget.
