At least 20 people were killed in violence between Kambari and Fulani communities in central Nigeria, a lawmaker and other sources said on Saturday (August 15, 2026).

The violence occurred on Friday (August 14) evening, a resident told AFP. A lawmaker representing Borgu Federal Constituency, Jafar Muhammad, confirmed the clashes, said there were 20 dead and called for the deployment of security forces.
