Nagpur: The brutal murder of 14-year-old Atharva Nanore has sparked fear among women and parents in the Gittikhadan area.Families in Gawalipura are gripped by anxiety over their children’s safety, with parents growing increasingly cautious and curbing outdoor activities and social interactions. Many are reluctant to let their children attend tuition classes or community gatherings without close supervision. “We won’t let our kids stay out for long,” said a resident, while another added that there is no peace of mind until children return home safely.Atharva, known for regularly attending prayers at a local shrine, has left the community in shock. Residents struggled to come to terms with the loss, questioning how such violence could claim the life of a young boy.On Sunday, hundreds gathered outside his residence in Gawalipura before accompanying the funeral procession to Mankapur Ghat.
