India and Sri Lanka will once again meet in another title clash, this time at the Asian Games in Nagoya on Tuesday (September 22, 2026), after nine days of continental dominance.
Parth Mane will face another match on Tuesday (September 22, 2026), time to savour his first major senior medal. India is to meet Japan in the quarterfinals of women’s badminton.

The third day of the Asian Games in Japan concluded on Monday (September 21, 2026) with India’s medal tally standing at six medals, four silver and two bronze, as the wait continued for a gold.
Indian shooters added three more medals to the tally, including a double podium finish in the 10m air rifle, in Nagoya on Monday (September 21, 2026). Himanshu Dhillon won his maiden international individual medal at the senior level, pipping Rudrankksh Patil to a silver. The two, together with Parth Mane, also won silver as a team.
