Bengaluru: Single speciality healthcare platform GIC and TPG-backed Asia Healthcare Holdings (AHH) has appointed three independent directors to its board, effective May 1, 2026.

Murali Sivaraman, a former Dutch-based health tech company Royal Philips and investment company institute (ICI) executive with over 30 years across consumer, industrial and healthcare sectors, has been named non-executive independent director and board chairperson, said the company in a press release.

Vinita Bali, former managing director and chief executive of Britannia Industries who also held a senior role at Coca-Cola, joins as non-executive independent director and Nomination and Remuneration Committee (NRC) chairperson.

Rashmi Joshi, former group CFO at marketer of automobile lubricants Veedol Corporation and ex-CFO of engine oil company Castrol India, takes on the role of non-executive independent director and audit committee chairperson.

The rest of the board comprises Cynthia Lau, Mayank Rawat and Lav Agarwal from GIC, Ankur Thadani and Bhushan Bopardikar from TPG Growth, and Vishal Bali as executive director.

AHH operates three healthcare chains such as Motherhood Hospitals, Nova IVF Fertility, and Asian Institute of Nephrology and Urology, across 80-plus cities in India, with over 150 hospitals and clinics, 2,000 doctors and 6,100 employees, said the release.
