Ahmedabad: The Western Railway announced the Asarva-Udaipur City Vande Bharat Express, giving Gujarat its sixth Vande Bharat train.The new service is expected to improve passenger convenience while supporting tourism and economic activity across the region.The inaugural run, Udaipur City-Asarva Vande Bharat Express, will depart Udaipur City at 12.25 on Monday and arrive at Asarva at 17.15. It will halt at Jawar, Dungarpur, and Himmatnagar en route.Regular operations of the train will begin on Wednesday and run 6 days a week, excluding Tuesdays. Train number 26963 Udaipur City-Asarva will leave Udaipur City at 6.10am and reach Asarva at 10.25am, while train number 26964 Asarva-Udaipur City will depart Asarva at 5.45pm and arrive at Udaipur City at 10pm.The train will have 8 coaches, including AC chair car and executive chair car.
