Arvind SmartSpaces has appointed Tarpit Patni as Head-Legal, effective 1 July 2026, as part of its broader effort to strengthen its legal leadership. The appointment comes after Jai Kumar Ajbani stepped down as Head Legal of Arvind SmartSpaces, effective 30 June 2026.
Patni joins the company after serving as Head Legal – Mumbai Zone at Godrej Properties.
“Tarpit had served as Head Legal – Mumbai Zone, Godrej Properties Limited (GPL), wherein he was instrumental in structuring and strategizing the diverse transactions for acquisitions of land parcels in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh providing 3x growth to the zone with ably handling numerous high-stake litigations for GPL,” noted Arvind SmartSpaces in an exchange filing.
Patni brings over 13 years of experience in real estate transactional work, compliance and litigation strategy, along with prior advisory work for government and non-government bodies including Deendayal Port Trust and the State of Rajasthan.
“With his rich cross-functional expertise spanning development, compliance, investments, and strategy, Tarpit brings deep industry knowledge and a proven track record of delivering business growth and value creation,” the filing added.
