Itanagar: The Arunachal Pradesh cabinet on Friday unanimously passed a historic resolution to mark the completion of 10 years of the ‘Team Arunachal’ govt under the leadership of CM Pema Khandu.The cabinet reaffirmed its commitment to the development, peace and prosperity of the state and congratulated Khandu. It also joined the nation in congratulating Prime Minister Narendra Modi on becoming the longest-serving elected PM for consecutive terms, noting he completed 4,399 days of continuous service on June 10, 2026.The cabinet recorded its gratitude for the continuous support from the Centre since 2014, saying the past decade has brought a ‘new dawn of hopes and aspirations’ to the state, guided by the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ and the spirit of ‘Reform, Perform and Transform’.Highlighting the achievements of the last decade, the resolution noted that the state has transitioned from an ‘era of strategic neglect’ to becoming an important part of India’s economic growth story, driven by major infrastructure and connectivity projects. “Over the last 10 years, the govt has focused on fulfilling the aspirations of youth, women, farmers, and students through robust support for self-help groups, start-ups, agriculture, and tourism,” the cabinet statement stated.The resolution reiterated the twin goals of ‘vikas and virasat’ (development and heritage), pledging to preserve Arunachal Pradesh’s rich indigenous identity, culture, and languages while pursuing modernisation. The cabinet also reaffirmed its vision to build a ‘Viksit Arunachal’ (Developed Arunachal) by 2047, promising to work towards a state that is beautiful, clean, safe, educated, healthy, and prosperous.
