Begusarai: Begusarai police on Thursday evening arrested two arms smugglers during the intensive vehicle checking drive at Lohia Nagar police overbridge under the Lohia Nagar police station of the city. SP Manish said police had a tip off that the bike-borne smugglers from Munger are on way to deliver arms to the criminals here. “Police conducted vehicle checking drive on the bridge. Four pistols, four magazines besides a cellphone were recovered from their possession. The motorcycle used by the criminals was also seized,” the SP said.
