Thiruvananthapuram: Traffic regulations will be in force in the city from 3pm to 10pm on Tuesday in connection with the Arattu procession of Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple.Traffic restrictions will apply on the road from Vazhapalli Junction to Mithranandapuram and Fort School, and the stretch from West Nada through Enchakkal, Vallakkadavu and Arattu Gate.Parking will not be permitted on either side of these roads. Vehicles parked in violation of the restrictions will be removed using recovery vehicles, and legal action will be initiated against the owners. Traffic on Kazhakkoottam-Kovalam bypass will be disrupted at Enchakkal Junction when the procession travels towards Shankhumukham Arattu Kadavu and while returning.From 3pm, vehicles will be diverted through Vazhapalli Junction, West Fort, Sreekanteswaram Park, Padmavilasam Road and Kothalam Junction. Passengers travelling to the domestic airport from Shankhumukham have been advised to use the route via Kallummoodu, Ponnara and Valiyathura.
