Hyderabad: Four persons were injured after an APSRTC bus rammed into a container truck on national highway 65 at Dandumalkapur in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district early on Tuesday. The accident occurred when the bus, which was heading towards Hyderabad from Nidadavolu in Andhra Pradesh, reportedly lost control and crashed into the container truck from behind.The impact severely damaged the front portion of the bus, particularly the cabin area. According to Choutuppal inspector G Manmadha Kumar, four passengers seated in the front cabin sustained minor injuries after being trapped briefly in the mangled section.They were shifted to the govt hospital in Choutuppal, where they were administered first aid. Police rushed to the spot upon receiving information and regulated traffic on the busy highway to prevent congestion. A case was registered, and an investigation is underway to ascertain the exact cause of the accident, including whether mechanical failure or driver error led to the crash.
