Bengaluru: A woman has alleged that she was harassed by a quick commerce delivery agent who repeatedly asked to enter her home, according to a video clip that has gone viral on social media. However, she has not filed a police complaint. The video does not mention the place, date or time of the alleged incident.In the Instagram video, the woman said the delivery agent arrived with her order and then asked for drinking water. After she gave him water, he allegedly asked if he could come inside the house.“He asked whether he could come inside for five minutes, and I said no. Then he asked for water again, which I gave him. After drinking it, he again asked whether he could come inside for five minutes. Again, I refused and closed the door. He then rang the bell two or three times. When I opened the door, he repeated the request. After I refused again and shut the door, he banged on the metal gate a few times,” she said.A senior police officer urged the public to dial 112 in such situations. “The Hoysala emergency response vehicle will reach the location at the earliest. People can also make a video call through the Karnataka state police app using the Safe Connect option, and police will respond quickly,” he said.In a later video, the woman said the quick commerce company had responded positively to her complaint and removed the delivery agent from its platform.
