As an already experienced mother, she has quite a few tips and tricks up her sleeve already on how to parent children and how to instill good habits into them. Over the years, she has also proudly spoken up about motherhood and the kinds of things she looks over. Here is a list of parenting tips from the ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ actress herself.

In 2019, while talking to The Sunday Times, the actress had opened up about a parenting hack that she had learned from the beloved royal couple. royal couple. “They get down on the child’s level and speak to them eye to eye to make their child feel empowered. I thought that was really cool. I started doing that with Jonathan,” she shared during the interview. She shared that this technique of active listening has helped her children quite a bit, and she has started doing this with her son.

This is another parenting tip from the star, where she shared that she has let go of having the perfect balance between things in her life, especially when it comes to her kids. She added, “I was very defeated by the concept of balance.”

While talking to Elle Magazine, the iconic star had opened up about the concept of ‘mommy guilt’ and how she really feels about it. A lot of mothers feel guilty over their style of parenting, wondering whether what they are doing is enough or right or wrong. However, Hathaway shared during the interview: “When [my son] Johnny [Rosebanks Shulman] was a week old and I was holding him and I was in the ninth level of ecstasy, I just all of a sudden thought, ‘Mommy guilt is invented nonsense.‘We’re encouraged to judge each other, but we should be turning our focus to the people and institutions who should be supporting us and currently aren’t.”Anne Hathaway does not share her children’s photos on social mediaWhile Hathaway makes sure to embrace her motherhood quite proudly, she also makes sure to keep her children’s faces away from social media. While his face was not visible, she still felt guilty about it.While talking to Jezebel in an interview, she shared, “I had never posted a photo of my son, and I decided to post a shot of the back of his head, and almost as soon as I’d done it, I wished that I hadn’t. I’m a big believer that you gotta mess things up sometimes to really see them properly, so if I made a mistake or I messed up, I know how I feel about it much better now. Instagram, when I first started, was so much fun. And it was a great way to be silly and kind of do things off the cuff. And now, because of the time we live in, I think words and pictures are carrying a much greater weight. Or, much less depending on how you engage with it.” Since then, the star has avoided posting photos of her children online.
