Ankita Kumar will join Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas as a Partner with her team in the Corporate Practice focusing on Aviation, Aerospace, and Defence sectors at the New Delhi office. Prior to joining CAM, Kumar was a partner at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co.
Kumar advises clients across the civil and general aviation, advanced air mobility, NewSpace and defence sectors on a broad range of regulatory, transactional and strategic matters. Her experience spans both leading law firms and several years as part of the in-house legal team at IndiGo Airlines.
Kumar’s work includes aircraft acquisition and leasing, financing transactions, M&A and joint ventures, airport development and operations, defence procurement, manufacturing and supply-chain arrangements, and sector-specific policy and compliance issues.
