Box office expectations remain positive
The spy thriller opened its advance bookings on Wednesday, just two days before its theatrical release. Featuring Alia Bhatt, Sharvari, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles, ‘Alpha’ is expected to enjoy a healthy start at the box office.According to trade analyst Ramesh Bala, the film collected around Rs 1.75 crore in advance bookings. He expects the action entertainer to earn more than Rs 5 crore on its opening day, with the possibility of touching around Rs 15 crore over its opening weekend if audience word of mouth remains favourable.‘Alpha’ has released alongside Huma Qureshi’s ‘Baby Do Die Do’. However, trade experts believe both films cater to different audience segments, making direct competition unlikely.
