Ahmedabad: A youth (25) allegedly made obscene gestures at a 7-year-old girl as she was returning home from a tuition class on the night of Sept 17. Based on a complaint filed by the girl’s father, Danilimda police registered an FIR and arrested the accused on Sunday. According to the complaint, the man allegedly followed the girl towards the lift and made obscene gestures.The girl immediately closed the lift door and went home, where she told her father about the incident. Police registered an offence under relevant provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act and other applicable sections and arrested the youth.
