Ahmedabad: The maximum temperature on Saturday in the city was 34.6 degrees Celsius — one of the lowest in the past few days — and overall 3.8 degrees lower than normal.On the other hand, the minimum temperature of 23.8 degrees was 1.3 degrees above normal. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast, the maximum temperature is likely to be around 35 degrees, even as the city may experience a partly cloudy sky.Western Disturbance over central Pakistan and the neighbourhood persisted on Saturday. A fresh Western Disturbance is likely from April 7, according to the forecast. On April 7, some areas of the state are expected to receive light rain.Across the state, the maximum temperatures remained low between 30 and 35 degrees, with the maximum temperature recorded at Amreli at 35.3 degrees.
