Ahmedabad: In view of the possibility of heavy rainfall during the monsoon season, the Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (Auda) has deployed machinery and manpower across the Shela, Sanathal and Telav areas to ensure a swift response to waterlogging and minimise disruption to daily life. As part of its preparedness measures, Auda has stationed 12 JCB machines, eight tractors, one Hitachi excavator, three dumpers, four 40HP pumps, three 55HP pumps, four 10HP pumps, and 20 pumps of 2HP or 3HP capacity through various agencies. Additionally, 49 labourers have been deployed for immediate response and relief work.
