East Bengal FC will face three tough West Asian opponents after being drawn in Group D of the AFC Champions League Two 2026-27 in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday.
East Bengal is grouped with Jordan champion Al Hussein SC, Iraq Stars League runner-up Al Shorta SC and Oman Professional League champion Al Seeb Club.
East Bengal secured its place in the group stage with a 4-1 win over Kuwait’s Al Arabi SC in the preliminary round last Wednesday. The reigning Indian Super League champion will make its first group-stage appearance in the competition since 2015, when it was known as the AFC Cup.
East Bengal will play each opponent in an home and away double-leg round-robin league format, with the top two teams advancing to the round-of-16.
The group stage will begin on September 15 and conclude on December 9. The final is scheduled for May 15, 2027.
