Navi Mumbai: The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation general body on Wednesday passed a resolution and took action against the assistant director of town planning, Somnath Kekan, over his administrative decisions. Kekan had allegedly issued construction commencement certificate and no-objection certificate for fire on the same day without following the due procedure. Kekan allegedly granted permissions when various violations related to the building were sub judice.
