NAGPUR: Sitabuldi police on Saturday morning have arrested Sanjay Petkar, a resident of Kamptee Road, who had been absconding for the last 24 years. He was later produced before the ad-hoc district judge.Petkar was wanted in a case registered under Section 353 of IPC at Sitabuldi police station for obstructing govt official from performing duty in 2002. He was accused of concealing his identity and repeatedly failing to appear before the court despite orders issued by the Ad-hoc District Judge.Acting on reliable information, a police team conducted surveillance and laid a trap after tracing the accused to Masepathar village in Kalmeshwar.
