Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas partner Abhilash Pillai is set to join Trilegal as a partner, sources close to the development have confirmed.
Pillai has pan-India experience in the real estate and construction practice and is currently based out of CAM’s Bengaluru office.
Pillai has advised various real estate funds, multinational companies, airport operators, lenders, borrowers, retailers, institutional and non-institutional real estate investors, developers, and operators across a broad range of business areas.
His practice includes advising on all aspects of investments in real estate projects, creation of security, sale and purchase of real property, including commercial leasing, due diligence, structuring, negotiation and documentation of transactions, drafting and negotiating agreements relating to sale, mortgage, loans, licences, construction, services, agency and franchise, as well as litigation and arbitration related to real estate.
