Chandigarh: Ahead of the Punjab Assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has inducted chief minister Bhagwant Mann and finance minister Harpal Singh Cheema, besides former Delhi minister Satyendar Jain into the party’s political affairs committee (PAC), said party sources. The AAP’s national council meeting was held on Wednesday where Arvind Kejriwal was unanimously re-elected as the party’s national convenor. A total of 330 members participated in the meeting.During the meeting, a new 23-member national executive was constituted. Pankaj Gupta has been elected as the national secretary, while N D Gupta will continue as the national treasurer.The new national executive members of the party are Arvind Kejriwal, Atishi, Adil Ahmad Khan, Anurag Dhanda, Bhagwant Singh Mann, Dilip Pandey, Durgesh Pathak, Gopal Italia, Gopal Rai, Rani Agarwal, Harpal Singh Cheema, Manish Sisodia, Mohammad Irshad, N. D. Gupta, Pankaj Gupta, Preeti Sharma Menon, Prithvi Reddy, Rakhi Birla, Bibhav, Sanjay Singh, Satyendar Jain, Shelly Oberoi and Rajbir.
