City-based NGO RudAbha organised ‘RudAbha Poetry Mic 13.0’ at Indian Idol Academy, Ludhiana on Sunday, bringing together young and established poets for an evening of verse, music and cultural exchange. The event offered participants a space to share original work and engage with audiences through poetry and performance.On the occasion, Ravi Nandan Sharma, director of the host academy, was honoured for his contribution to promoting art and culture.
Poets and artists present included Aanis Khan Ludhianvi, Rajinder Rajan, Ravi Singh Rajput, Sandeep Dutt, Varinder Jatwani, Satish Bassi, Satpal Raushan, Manisha, Rehan Khan, Manveer Dhiman, Kamal Ludhianvi, Kamal Kumar, Jas Ghafil, Gagandeep Singh, Dr. Munisha Sharma, Shanti Jain, Jyoti Bajaj, Daljeet Singh and Priya Kandera.Sandeep Dutt, founder of the NGO, said that the initiative aims to provide artists “a sensitive and honest platform where they can freely express themselves.” Humour poet Varinder Jatwani drew appreciation from the audience, while singer Ravi Singh Rajput performed and unveiled the poster of his upcoming music album.Aanis Khan Ludhianvi said that the organization has been promoting literature, art and cultural dialogue since 2017 and plans to organise more such events in the future.
