Srinagar: Youth Empowerment Society (YES) in collaboration with Chotay Taray Foundation organized a special event titled “A Day of Joy, A Lifetime of Impact” for specially abled children at the foundation in Bemina area here.

In a statement issued here, it said that the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from children and was filled with happiness, positivity and memorable moments.

Various interactive and recreational activities were organized during the programme, bringing smiles and joy to the children and everyone present.

The programme aimed to promote awareness, inclusion and compassion towards specially abled children while encouraging society to support and uplift them with dignity, care and respect.

Organizers emphasized that every child is unique and deserves equal opportunities, encouragement and acceptance.Representatives of Youth Empowerment Society and Chotay Taray Foundation expressed gratitude to all participants and supporters who contributed towards making the event successful.

They reiterated their commitment towards social welfare, inclusion and empowerment initiatives in the future as well.

The event was conducted by Secretary YES Palika Singh, Cashier YES Ajeetpal Singh, Coordinator YES Taranjot Singh, Joint Secretary YES Angat Singh along with volunteers of the team YES including Sehaj Kour, Loveleen Kour and Harleen Kour.

Arjumand Maqdoomi Founder and President Chotay Tarey Foundation and Hetayatul Rashid Makhdoomi, Founder Member, Chotay Taray Foundation were also present on the occasion.
