Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) has advised Hero Motors Limited on its initial public offering aggregating to INR 1,000 crore. S&R Associates and Hogan Lovells Cadwalader acted as domestic and international legal counsel respectively to the book running lead managers on this issue.
ICICI Securities, DAM Capital Advisors and JM Financial acted as book running lead managers to the offer.
The IPO comprised 119,047,618 equity shares, aggregating to INR 1,000 crore, including a fresh issue of 71,428,571 equity shares aggregating to INR 600 crore and an offer for sale of 47,619,047 equity shares aggregating to INR 400 crore by the selling shareholders.
Hero Motors is a powertrain solutions provider for automotive companies, with operations spanning powertrain products and components for automotive original equipment manufacturers.
The CAM capital markets team was led by partner and regional co-head, capital markets – north Vishal Yaduvanshi, and partner Amitpal Singh, with support from principal associate Mihir Mathur and associates Ritvik Maheshwari, Prakhar Jain, Shvabh Chakrawarti and Abhirup Manna.
The S&R team was led by partners Juhi Singh and Shiv Bhargava, and included associates Anmol Kanodia, Abhishek Gupta, Ishika Patnaik, Vasundhara Gupta and Sahsransh Pandey.
The Hogan Lovells Cadwalader Capital Markets team was led by head of the India practice and Dubai office managing partner Biswajit Chatterjee, with support from counsel Kaustubh George and senior associate Jayant Bhardwaj.
