Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Attorneys has appointed Vinod Joseph as partner in its corporate and M&A team in Mumbai. Joseph joins LKS from Economic Laws Practice, where he was a partner in the investment funds practice.
Joseph has over 27 years of experience spanning corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, investment funds, banking, technology, data privacy and regulatory compliance.
His experience includes advising on domestic and cross-border transactions across infrastructure, real estate, technology and financial services.
Joseph has previously held senior roles across Indian and international law firms as well as financial institutions.
His career includes stints with Argus Partners, Global Infrastructure Partners, IDFC Alternatives, Brand Capital of the Times Group, Reed Smith LLP, Lawrence Graham LLP, and AZB & Partners, in addition to ELP.
His international experience includes working in the UK between 2002 and 2010, including as Vice-President Legal at Kotak Mahindra (UK) Limited.
