Times News NetworkKanpur:A driver of a dairy vehicle died after the vehicle rammed a trailer on the Auraiya-Etawah route near Fatehpur Karampur in Sadar Kotwali area in Auraiya around 2 am on Monday.The driver, Pramod Awasthi (28), a resident of Bharamau village in Rasulabad police station area of Kanpur Dehat, was seriously injured. Sadar Kotwali police reached the spot after being informed and pulled Awasthi from the damaged vehicle and took him to hospital, where doctors declared him dead.Police took custody of the body and sent it for post-mortem. Awasthi’ family members were informed. Cops are investigating the cause of the accident.
